Nine first responders recently graduated from Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training, sponsored by Sandhills Center, Montgomery Community College, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, FirstHealth, Daymark Recovery Services, Therapeutic Alternatives, the North Carolina Department of Public Safety (NCDPS), the Troy Police Department and NAMI-Moore County, a behavioral health advocacy organization that serves the surrounding area.
