If you want to be successful in high school, you have to be diligent in your attendance. For West Montgomery senior Bryan Hernandez, just getting to school was often an obstacle. He lives in Candor, but chose to attend West Montgomery High School.
The distance was an issue, particularly when his usual ride chose not to come to school when he was a freshman, but his sophomore year he got sick and missed four months due to the flu and whooping cough. “My mother, Gabriella Perez, was always there for me, especially when I was sick,” Bryan noted.
