Biscoe Police Officers are trying to piece together exactly what happened on Saturday evening to set off two shooting incidents in the area of Harris Street. The incidents are believed to be related to a shooting in Candor earlier this month which left Larry Junior Simmons (Williams) dead.
The first call to 911 about shots fired in the area of Harris Street came shortly before 6 p.m., Saturday. The second incident came approximately two hours later while officers were still investigating the first call. Sgt. Tina Medlin was collecting shell casings from a vehicle on Hyde Street that was involved in the first incident when she heard shots ring out.
