Vice officers with Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office confiscated the largest amount of heroin ever seized in Montgomery County during a search of a residence on Zion Church Road in Mt. Gilead, July 30. That search also netted a large amount of meth and cash.
According to vice officer Harold Brock, the arrest of Sergio Calloway and Ashley Johnson at the residence should slow the drug trade on the west side of the county for at least a few weeks. Brock also stated the drugs coming out of this residence are believed to be related to the recent overdoses seen in the county.
