BILLY R. LEWIS
Billy Reece Lewis, 76, of Candor, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral services were held Dec. 10 at Macedonia Presbyterian Church with the Rev. George Ingram officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Lewis was a native of Montgomery County, the son of James Robert and Bertie Alma Lamonds Lewis. He was a machinist with CSX Railroad and retired in 1996 after 30 years of service.
Survivors include son, Gary R. Lewis of Seven Lakes; daughters, Vickie Panzer of Mt. Gilead, Terrie L. Furr of Candor, Sherrie L. Ingram of Eagle Springs; brothers, Bobby Lewis of Candor and Ray Lewis of Asheboro; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Napoleon McDonald, 73, of Mt. Gilead, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010.
Funeral services were held Dec. 11 at Mountain Grove/Ingram Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. Burial followed in the Greenlake Church Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald was a native of Richmond County.
Survivors include son, David McBride of Mt. Gilead; brothers, Ralph McDonald of Mt. Gilead, Billy Ray McDonald of Leland; one grandchild.
BOBBY R. NICHOLSON
Bobby Ray Nicholson Sr., 68, of Mount Gilead, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at his home.
Funeral services were held Dec. 13, at Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. B.M. Harris officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Nicholson was a native of Richmond County, born to the late Mrs. Millie Nicholson Leake and Peter Pemberton. He received his education in the Richmond County School System and was a former employee of Jordan Lumber Company. He was a Master Mason of Lodge #36 Paramount Scottish Rites and a member of the Independent Riders MC of Mount Gilead.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Greene Nicholson of the home; children, Keith McLeod of Mount Gilead, Bobby Nicholson of Ellerbe, Micheal Nicholson of Charlotte, Shawna Watkins of Troy, Joseph Nicholson of Germantown, Md., Tyisha Watts of Candor, Mary Greene and Dominique Harris both of Biscoe.
Michael “JUNIOR” Latham
Michael Odell “Junior” Latham, 39, of Biscoe, died Monday, December 13, 2010, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at a later date.
He was a native of Grand Forks, North Dakota and was a former employee of Myrick Construction.
Surviving are his parents, Michael E. and Mandie Gunter Latham of the home; sisters, Rebecca Gail Moore of Asheboro, Angelia Marie Latham of Biscoe.
