SUE B. MORGAN
Sue Brown Morgan, 74, of Star, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, after a long illness.
Funeral services were held July 17, at Star United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Kay Boone and the Rev. Vance Lowe officiating.
Mrs. Morgan was a graduate of Marietta High School, Ga. and the University of Georgia. She spent part of her career as a teacher and later worked as a paralegal for the Sanford Holshouser Law Firm in Pinehurst. She was a member of the Halcyon Woman’s Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Donald O’Quinn Morgan.
Survivors include son, Ernest Morgan, of Oregon, WI; daughter, Margaret Morgan, of Bogart, GA; siblings, Betty Chapman, James Brown, Charlene Patrick; three grandchildren.

Shirley Ann Evans Saunders, 66, of Troy died Friday, July 16, 2010 at her home.
Funeral services were held July 18 at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. Burial followed in Southside Cemetery.
Mrs. Saunders was a native of Sumter, S.C, the daughter of John and Christine (Scott) Evans. She was a self employed hairdresser. She attended Shady Grove Christian Church and was preceded in death by her father, John Evans.
Survivors include husband, Bobby Leon Saunders of the home; mother, Christine Evans Morgan of Candor; children, Bobby L. Saunders Jr. of Dahlgren, Va., Tim Saunders and Tyler Saunders, both of Troy, Jennifer S. Hoagland of Hickory; five grandchildren.
DEBRA K. BINNS
Debra Kay Binns, 56, of Aiken, S.C., died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.
A memorial service was held June 26, at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Aiken, S.C. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Abbeville, S.C.
Mrs. Binns was a native of Montgomery County, daughter of Anne and Tom Tarlton Sr. She had worked at SRP Federal Credit Union for over twenty three years, most recently as a compliance manager.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ronnie Binns; daughter, Deidra Heath of Aiken, S.C.; son, Chad Warner of Grovetown, Ga.; step daughter, Emily Binn of Charleston, SC; sister, Judy McClendon of Flat Rock; step brother, Tom Tarlton of Troy; eight grandchildren

Beatrice Armstrong Wilson Durham, 96, of Jackson Springs, died Monday, July 12, 2010.
Funeral services were held July 17 at Piney Grove FWB Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Survivors include children, Leonard Wilson, Vystia Rush, Frances Faust, Wilie Carl Wilson, Edward Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Veronica Wilson; 18 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
