The ladies’ tournament was a round robin with no trophies being presented at the end. Montgomery Central, Australia, Anson County and Christ the King participated with each team playing twice. Montgomery Central and Anson did not play each other because they are both in the Rocky River Conference and they play twice during the regular season. . .

The Lady Timberwolves played well enough in the first quarter to give local fans hope that they could pullout a win over their international opponent. Down 13 – 8 after the first eight minutes, the Lady Wolves weren’t prepared for the Storm that was coming quickly. With plenty of defensive pressure and a lot of easy lay ups, the Storm raged past the Lady Wolves for a 68 – 29 win.

“I’m really not pleased with the way we played tonight,” stated Hunter.
