On the Saturday before Christmas, two friends and I,  plus their two dogs, hiked at Morrow Mountain State Park. We parked at the Bridle Trail parking area just to the right after the entrance gate, and hiked the Sugarloaf Trail to the Morrow Mountain Trail. This trail has some ups and downs, crosses several pretty little creeks, then climbs pretty quickly to the top of Morrow Mountain. It was about a 4-mile hike total trip, in and out, and with the tough climb we were all happy it wasn’t a longer trek. There were some great views climbing up to the top though, and well worth the effort.
