House fire in Candor

FIRE - The smoking remains of a house fire in Candor last Wednesday. The house, located at 115 North School Street, was already burning and filled with smoke when firefighters arrived, according to Candor Fire Chief Carrick Parsons. He said firefighters believe the blaze was caused by a fireplace insert that wasn’t set up correctly. Photo by Luke Brantley.
