It took almost two years, but officers finally apprehended Jamarl Letre Chappell, who is wanted for the murder of Larry Junior Williams. Williams was shot while sitting in a vehicle on Etta Drive in Candor on October 12, 2019.
Chappell has been on the run since the shooting first occurred. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has been working with state and federal agencies to locate Chappell and recently received an anonymous tip of his location in Greensboro. He was arrested without incident at the home where he was staying.
