Montgomery County Commissioners postponed any decision on the two resolutions presented by the local chapter of the NAACP following a work session with commissioners Dottie Robinson and Grant Hinson. The first resolution

was asking the board to declare racism as a public health crisis in the county. The second resolution asked for the removal of the Confederate flag and inscription on the war memorial at the courthouse.
