Principal's Choice Award

Chris Greene has seen adversity in his life and has chosen to push through and find positive goals and role models to help him make his way to a brighter future. After a great deal of loss Chris has found his way back into the social sphere through hard work and determination in his years at Montgomery Central High School. Chris grew up in Candor and has fond memories of growing up raising pigs and goats. Chris also has fond memories of sports as he remembers his dad playing baseball at East Montgomery years ago before he passed. Sports were important to Chris and he ultimately wanted to play football but he did not make the team in middle school. Chris says that he couldn’t build up enough courage to try out his freshman year of high school. He tried out and made the team sophomore year but says that he “rode the bench most of the season.”
