Montgomery County Commissioners discussed what to do about West Montgomery High School during last night’s board meeting. The board went through an upset bid process that yielded no additional offers; however, the board is not obligated to accept the $600,000 offer and has expressed some hesitation on accepting that bid. No decision had been made by press time.

The $600,000 offer was submitted by Ford Transportation and Dispatch Service LLC of Rockingham. In their offer to purchase the school it was stated, “This price directly reflects the amount of work that must be completed on the school. As well as the cost to bring the school and the pump station up to par for myself and other industries to use it.” The offer was signed by Sean and Erica Ford.
