ARREST - Robby Penny, front, and Cale Latham, rear, lead suspect David Greene to a vehcile for transport to Montgomery County Jail on Tuesday.

Troy Police Department fielded hundreds of tips in the last few days regarding the whereabouts of David Baxter Greene (aka Brackie Greene), but until the tip on Tuesday, all had led to dead ends. Tuesday’s tip came from the community and led officers to Greene where he was hiding out at a friend’s house in Seagrove.

Greene was wanted in connection with the death of a Randy Dean Little, 56, of Troy. Little died of an apparent overdose on March 6. Officers were called to a residence on South Main Street in Troy around 9 p.m. that evening. It is suspected Little died from an overdose of fentanyl that he purchased from Greene just hours before, stated Robby Penny of the Troy Police Department.
