Melinda Clark came to the April 5 regular meeting of the Candor Commissioners to talk about the problem of garbage in the streets, park and around town in general.

By the end of the meeting, Clark commended the town for taking on the problem and taking steps to do something about it.

All the towns and professional landscapers are complaining among themselves and to municipal officials about trash being thrown out, a problem that has become worse countywide in the past year.
