Principal's Choice Award

When Antwone Ewing was young his aunt was watching a movie called “Hardball” with a character named G Baby. She gave young Antwone the nickname that has become a term of endearment and respect across the halls of Montgomery Central High School. The movie “Hardball” is all about a little league team that overcomes adversity and tragedy to triumph and continue fighting no matter what. Antwone has dealt with his own share of adversity from an early age since he was born with a genetic defect that left him missing four bones in his leg. Antwone has had to live with a prosthetic leg, since he was a toddler, but he does not let that slow him down or break his stride and ambition.
