Former Biscoe Police Chief Brent Tedder was sentenced to 60 days in jail last week during Superior Court following his guilty plea of assault on a female. The guilty plea came on the second day of his trial, with his attorney telling Superior Court Judge Brad Long that his client did not want to put the victim, who was clearly upset during the previous day’s testimony, through anymore hurt.

After seating a jury the day before, testimony began with the victim and the showing of a video, which showed the victim down on her knees working. Tedder approached the victim and pulled her head to his crotch. This was the second time such an incident had occurred.
