We have many historic and recreational areas that are appealing to the entire family. We are located inside the Uwharrie National Forest’s borders, with the trailheads to the Uwharrie Trails located minutes away from North Main Street. You are welcome to visit our Main Street shops for a cup of coffee at the Uwharrie Mercantile and have a nice dinner at Crawford’s Diner. You can also shop for clothing items at our local boutique after grabbing a few skin products from our local Uwharrie Soap Company.
The Town of Troy provides its residents and visitors the joy of seven recreational opportunities that consist of a variety of activities. There is something for everyone, from playing basketball and softball at the Peabody Park to competing in professional disc golf at the Lowe Warner Park. The Troy Senior Center offers a place for social activities while the Nature Preserve and Denson’s Creek Golf Course provide a place for fishing and golfing, respectively.
Our Town Stage Amphitheater offers a diverse selection of entertainment at least twice a month during the warmer months. The town also hosts its annual, well-known ‘Troy Fest’ on the Saturday before July 4th. These are only a few of the numerous amenities you will find in our charming town.
It is an honor that we welcome you to Troy, NC. We believe our town is the perfect place to visit and call home. We, as a community, stand as a united front to be Proactive, Productive, and Progressive (#PROTROY) for the future of Troy, NC and invite you to be a part of it.
