The Montgomery Central Timberwolves’ swim team had a great first year, particularly the men’s team. Head coach, Jason Hensley, who was the 2019 – 2020 Rocky River Conference Coach of the Year, coached the West Montgomery Warriors last year and had two relay teams make the regional. This year, not only did the Timberwolves have three relay teams make the 3A Central Regional Swim Meet, but senior Noah Kimrey qualified as an individual in the 50-yard freestyle event.

When the day was over, the Timberwolves’ men’s squad had scored 18 points and finished tied for 18th place. It was the first time a local team has scored points in a regional swim meet. Chapel Hill finished first in the men’s meet, and East Chapel Hill was tops in the women’s meet.
